Saundra Gumfory, MA, OTR/L, graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. In addition, she holds a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Saundra's experience in pediatrics includes specialized training in assessment and treatment of the infant. She has experience working in the neonatal intensive care units, testing and treating infants and training staff. Her extensive experience includes early intervention, developmental disabilities and school based services. Additionally, she has trained in working with sensory processing disorders and feeding disorders. She has trained in Advanced Therapeutic Listening. Saundra has worked at Nevada Early Intervention Services and also with the Washoe County School District.
Saundra Started Children in Motion in 1992, along with three other pediatric therapists. She is currently co-owner of Children in Motion.
