Rachel Brown, MS CCC-SLP graduated from the University of Missouri,Kansas City with a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science. In addition she holds a Master's degree from the University of Central Missouri in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Rachel has worked in a variety of settings including rehabilitation, outpatient, skilled nursing and pediatrics. She was the area rehabilitation manager for several skilled nursing facilities. Her passion has always been working with the pediatric population. She has specialized training in several areas including auditory processing, pre-literacy skills, verbal apraxia and autism. Rachel holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the American Academy of Private Practice for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
She joined Children in Motion in 2000 and is a co-owner.
